Field of view:
The actual diameter of the observable field in the sample; varies with the field number of the eyepiece (visual observation) or the dimension of the detector chip in the camera (electronic imaging), the magnification of the objective and other magnification factors in the microscope (e.g.Optovar, or the camera adapter magnification).
