Frame selection and fitting
- The basis for successful fitting is the selection of the right frame. Selecting a small frame results in reduced center and edge thickness of the lenses, reduces weight and improves the cosmetic appearance. For progressive lenses, the frame should be large enough to provide sufficient distance and near viewing areas.
- The frame tilt should be between 7°-11° and the corneal vertex distance should be between 12-16 mm to ensure the widest fields of view at all ranges.

| Frame tilt: 7° -11°. | | Corneal vertex distance: 12-16 mm. |
| Oblique frame position worsens imaging performance significantly. | | Facial wrapping of the frame parallel to the contour of the face. |
