Highlights new optional capabilities for the refractive specialist. An adjustable Residual Stromal Bed Safety Line permits quick visualization of the residual stromal bed thickness or the depth of other corneal structures. A plethora of additional tools are available to assist the phakic IOL and anterior segment surgeon in preoperative simulation and postoperative confirmation of IOL placement in the anterior chamber with respect to sensitive structures such as the crystalline lens and corneal endothelium.
Irido-Corneal Tools Module
New semi-automatic anterior chamber angle tools provide optional measurement data to objectively quantify angle anatomy in normal and narrow angles. Angle parameters include the Angle Opening Distance (AOD), the Trabecular Iris Space Area (TISA), the Angle Recess Area (ARA), the Scleral Spur Angle and the Trabecular Iris Contact Length (TICL). These new tools and parameters permit exquisite evaluation and documentation of anterior chamber angle anatomy. |
