In principle, the Carl Zeiss logo should always have a white background as shown on this site. This is an important part of brand management and helps to ensure that the public receives a uniform image of the company. This approach is well-founded and has been devised in response to the following question: what values and what image of the company are most effectively conveyed in what way?
The name Carl Zeiss primarily stands for precision, clarity and reliability. These values can be best conveyed by our logo if it is given a sovereign position against a white background. This means that the surrounding area almost becomes part of the logo and underscores the message it conveys.
Ideally, of course, we would like the ZEISS logo to appear on your site against a white background. However, we do not wish to interfere with your site design and tell you what background colors you should use. Instead, we would like to give you a few tips, about how to best use the logo against non-white backgrounds.
