Bernried, Germany, is a small village which is situated near the famous Lake Starnberg about 45 km south-west of Munich.

From Munich Airport by Public Transportation
Take the local urban train S8 to Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Change to the regional train (RB) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Change in Tutzing to the train to Kochel. Next station is Bernried.

From Munich Airport by Car
Take the Autobahn A92 to Munich. Change at connection Kreuz Neufahrn to Autobahn A9 to Salzburg. Leave the Autobahn at connection Schwabing and drive on the Schenkendorfstrasse in direction Mittlerer Ring West and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95). Always follow the signs to Autobahn Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95). Leave the Autobahn A95 at connection Seeshaupt in direction to Seeshaupt. At the next crossing in St. Heinrich go left to Seeshaupt. Follow the road about 3 km, when you leave Seeshaupt (on the left side you see a petrol station) go right onto a small road to Bernried. Arriving in Bernried, take the first left street Am Neuland. Drive to the end where you find the main buildings of P.A.L.M. Microlaser Technologies GmbH on the left hand side.
