On top, they offer more close-focusing capability. This was made possible only by excluding the central shutter from the lens. Therefore, FE-Lenses cannot be used with 500 series cameras. All FE-Lenses come with additional components for 200 series Hasselblad TTL light metering and auto-exposure.
