A camera system capable of extraordinary resolving power begs for appropriate image recording media. The advantages of universally available silver halide film are easy to appreciate – with resolving powers of the ZEISS ZM lenses in excess of 300 lp/mm, film is the only recording media with this capability. But in our effort to “push the envelope” we wanted to demonstrate the advantages of film over digital media by using the best film available.
