New Zeiss Cine Lenses for Arriflex
At Cinec in Munich and photokina in Cologne Zeiss introduced four new lenses for 35 mm film:
The Planar 1,2/65 is a new addition to the Zeiss superspeed lens set. It bridges the gap between the Planar 1,2/50 and the Planar 1,2/85.
In the range of ULTRA PRIME lenses for Arriflex,Zeiss introduced 3 new lenses: Distagon 1,7/28, Distagon 1,7/40, and Sonnar 1,7/100. With these new lenses the ULTRA PRIME set now includes 12 different focal lengths ranging from 10 mm to 135 mm.
