The lenses are basically the same. Both lens assortments are produced at the Carl Zeiss factory in Oberkochen, Germany following the same quality standards. Therefore, there is no difference in quality. The impression of differing quality could be based on the fact that more advanced optical calculations were first used in the Hasselblad program than in the Rollei program. Moreover, the Hasselblad program offers special ZEISS high-performance lenses such as Biogon 4.5/38, Distagon 4/40 IF, Planar 3.5/100, Sonnar 4/180, Superachromat 5.6/250 and Tele-Superachromat 5.6/350.
