”Lord of the Rings” Movie spectacular to use Carl Zeiss lenses
One of the most challenging projects in film history will be equipped with Arriflex 435 and 535 cameras and the newly introduced Carl Zeiss Ultra Prime lenses. With director Peter Jackson at the helm, New Line Cinema’s adaption of J. R. R. Tolkien’s literary masterpiece will be shot in New Zealand over an eighteen month period. With a budget around $500 million it will be the largest film production ever undertaken in the Southern Hemisphere. This technically challenging production assembles an international cast and crew of over four hundred as well as employing 5,000 extras. | |
