Kodak DCS Pro Back with Hasselblad 555 ELD Camera and Carl Zeiss Lenses

Introducing the new Kodak Professional DCS Pro Back with its 16 Megapixel sensor Kodak toured central Europe this summer to bring the imaging potential of this new digital tool to the eyes of working pros in major centers of professional photography. The new Kodak DCS Pro Back was shown in portrait and fashion action on a Hasselblad ELD 555 camera with a Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 4/120 CFi lens. It delivered highly convincing results and received lots of praise.

As a result of this campaign Kodak received many orders for the DCS Pro Back and at Hasselblad, orders for the ELD 555 camera increased by multiples over previous years. At Zeiss, the demand for the Makro-Planar T* 4/120 CFi went further up, beyond the already very attractive development in previous years. Requests from photographers came also for Zeiss lenses with shorter focal lengths that would fit well with the high sharpness potential of the 16 Megapixel Kodak DCS Pro Back.

PS: For those who are seeking shorter focal lenght lenses with their digital back Zeiss would like to recommend:
the Planar T* 3,5/100 CFi, Distagon T* 3,5/60 CFi, and Distagon T* 4/50 FLE CFi.

Those in need of longer focal length lenses should consider:
the Sonnar T* 4/180 CFi, the Superachromat 5,6/250 CFi, and the Tele-Superachromat T* 5,6/350 CFE.
