New CFi and CFE lenses from Carl Zeiss for Hasselblad sell extremely well
The new generation of Carl Zeiss lenses for Hasselblad brought a number of improvements, which are strongly endorsed by Hasselblad users:
- new styling to fit the Hasselblad camera bodies more pleasingly
- overall ergonomics improved
- image brilliance and color saturation enhanced
- shutter modified for more complex interaction with the camera body and accessories
- life expectancy of the shutter extended by a new main spring made of Nivarox
- legibility of all scales improved
- torque reduced on focusing rings
- front bayonet with bumper function and smooth feeling when attaching sunshades and filters
- rear bayonet with improved rigidity and wear resistance due to its three-dimensional
- structure and ceramic hardcoating
- strengthened PC-connector with positive connector lock. As a consequence, lens sales in the Hasselblad system are exceeding forecasts significantly. Especially in the USA these new generation lenses are very well received.
