Drosophila Muscle attachment
Dissected wild-type drosophila embryo carrying a single copy of P1618 to mark the muscle attachment cell clusters. Embryos are stained with RITC-conjugated phalloidin (muscles in red) and antibodies directed against b-gal (sr-lacZ cell nuclei in green). An hour 11.5 P1618/+ embryo showing muscles 21-23 attaching within clusters of b-gal-expressing epidermal cells.
