With this module you can acquire your microscope images as Z-stacks. The resulting image stack contains valuable information about the relationship of structures in axial dimension and will be saved as one single ZVI-file.
The image stack is acquired when the software synchronizes the precise movement of the motorized focus drive with image acquisition. The distance between the steps can be determined automatically or by yourself.
To further analyze 3D images:
Good to know: Visualize image stacks in the cut view mode available in AxioVision or in the freeware version AxioVision LE. Analyzing image stacks does not require the Z-Stack module, so you can freely share your images with colleagues.
