New microscope design permits unimpeded work
The reflector turret is a special development. Positioned at a slant and integrated in an unusual mounting position, the optical axis passes through the front position. In this manner a large space is created for specimens and tools.
This also applies to the 2-position and 4-position objective turrets. They are also designed for their optical axis to pass through the front objective in its working position. This facilitates the positioning of pipettes decisively – not only from the sides, but also from the front. To change magnifications, first lift the objective up to a stop more than 20 mm above, and then rotate it away to the rear at a safe distance from the pipettes.
Flexibly expand the free space
Expand the specimen space of the Axio Examiner according to your needs, either by removing condenser and condenser carrier, lowering of stage, or insertion of a spacer between upper and lower part. Depending on your microscope configuration, you can achieve a free working distance of more than 100 mm.
Control elements made easy to operate
All important control elements of Axio Examiner are positioned in front: focus drive, stage drive and condenser drive, field diaphragm, transmitted-light and reflected-light shutters, switching between visible and infrared light, and the intensity adjustment of transmitted-light illumination. This is a definite advantage: you can safely do all the necessary settings without disturbing the sensitive setup.

All motorized functions are controllable with the keyrings as well as via the docking station with touchscreen and through the AxioVision software.
