Motorization is a critical issue in electrophysiology.
Electrical noise must be absolutely avoided. For complex experiments, some motorized functions are indispensable, though. The way they are implemented is crucial.

Noise excluded
All motors switch off as soon as they have reached their target positions. In addition, you can press a button to actuate active grounding. This ensures that any potentials still present leak off completely.
Motorized condenser focus – a unique Axio Examiner feature
Thanks to synchronous focusing of condenser and objective, the condenser automatically provides optimum illumination for every focus position of the objective. A measurable gain in efficiency, especially when you use the condenser for signal detection, e.g. in transmitted-light work with NDDs in laser scanning microscopy.
Remote control option
The remote control option is relevant wherever interference with complex experimental setups have to be avoided. You can operate remote control functions either on the stand – with keyrings around the focusing knobs – or via the optional docking station with touch screen. The AxioVision software provides another alternative for no-touch control.
