The theoretical limit of the resolving capability of light microscopes is highly dependent on the objective. The following table shows the resolving power of Carl Zeiss objectives in the intermediate image for 0.63 x and 1.0 x TV coupling adapters in combination with a 2/3" CCD (8,5 mm x 6,4 mm)
