	Oberkochen, 01.04.2006. From April, Carl Zeiss Optronics will have a new appearance on the internet, providing fast and easy information on the company, its compe- tencies and products. Keywords permit visitors to selectively access information. Short, concise texts provide the basic facts. Readers who want to know more about products or services will find these details in linked PDF files for downloading. The primary goal in designing the new website was to present contents and page layouts in a way that supports customers in their search for infor- mation. "Our customers need their information promptly. Therefore, the goal was to design clearly structured, self-explanatory pages which speed up the search for information," say Josef Kötter and Dr. Armin Breinig, Members of the Board at Carl Zeiss Optronics. This is underlined by project manager Stefanie Ladel: "Now we have a website that presents information in a clear, concise way. And the graphic structure of our website reflects what we stand for – precision." The English website will be relaunched simultaneously with the German version.
