| We are unable to repair/service the older Jena products that were manufactured before WWII. This area of Germany (Jena) became part of the Eastern zone at the close of the War and the Zeiss company "relocated" rather quickly in the Western zone. Unfortunately, since many of the parts, prints and tools were left behind, we are no longer able to repair these products. |

If the Jena product was manufactured after WWII, then it was made in East Germany. After Zeiss relocated to the western zone, the government took over the old facility in Jena and production began again using the Zeiss name. Since this was a "state-owned" facility, the company of Carl Zeiss Jena no longer existed after the reunification in 1989. This company was in no way affiliated with our company and information regarding repairs and parts are not available.
