| New Policies Governing Ethics for Medical Technology Companies and Health Care Professionals |
| |
In December 2008, AdvaMed’s Board of Directors voted to amend their Code of Ethics to include guidelines for interaction between their member companies and Health Care Professionals. The new guidelines explain activities and behaviors that are appropriate or inappropriate between the two entities. The AdvaMed Code of Ethics parallels similar guidelines that already exit for the pharmaceutical industry. New AdvaMed policies went into effect on July 1, 2009.
