Carl Zeiss Optronics GmbH aims to give you as much control over your personal data as possible. Normally, you can use our websites without providing any personal information.
In some areas of the Carl Zeiss websites, however, you are requested to provide us with personal information in order to help us enhance the site and keep in contact with you. You are asked for this type of data if, for example, you register for a newsletter, or if you send us your ideas using one of our contact forms or take part in an online survey. If you ask us not to use this data to contact you again in the future, we shall respect your wishes. The same applies if you want to delete your name from a newsletter mailing list.
The data you provide will be treated confidentially and will only be used within the framework of the relationship between you and Carl Zeiss Optronics. In accordance with § 33 of the Federal Data Protection Act, we hereby give notice that we and affiliated companies of the Zeiss Group will store personal data relating to our business relationship with you. The data given to us will not be provided or sold to third parties in other organizations.
Utilization and connection data will be used solely for trend analysis and statistical purposes. It will be subsequently deleted.
This policy applies to all websites of companies in the Carl Zeiss Group. We have also instructed our staff to make appropriate reference to and observe our data protection regulations in all areas of websites where personal data is requested.
