Various versions of riflescopes from Carl Zeiss Optronics are available in two classes: targeting optics for standard weapons such as assault rifles, and riflescopes for marksmen. Targeting optics for standard weapons feature fixed magnification without parallax compensation; riflescopes for marksmen with parallax compensation and variable magnification. Red dot sights were developed for fast target acquisition and reliable targeting up to 100 m. They are small, lightweight and compact, and can be placed on any weapon equipped with a Picatinny rail. | |
