Laser rangefinders with 1 Hz lasers are used to determine the range to stationary targets. Carl Zeiss offers various eyesafe sensors, including the Abrams M1, LDM 38, MOLEM and EMES 15 laser rangefinders. They are designed for integration into sensor platforms and cover various ranges.
Used by infantry and artillery troops, as well as the Air Force and Navy. Laser rangefinders from Carl Zeiss Optronics are also deployed by border patrol and customs agents, as well as the marine and coast guard.
The MOLEM NA laser rangefinder, in particular, is suitable for use on the open seas. Its special housing makes it resistant to the aggressive, corrosive effects of saltwater.
