Day or night: clear vision – arrive safely
The more information drivers have at their disposal, the faster and more precisely they can react. Ideally, they can use several spectral channels – individually or intelligently combined.
The SEE (Sight Effectiveness Enhancement) driver’s visualization system consists of an SWIR camera (0.8–2 µm) and an uncooled thermal imager (8–12 µm). The video signals can be merged or displayed separately. When merged, the image information from the different spectral channels is intelligently combined to create a new image. This enables the driver to view all information at a glance without loss.
 | | In addition to its suitability as a driver’s visualisation system, the SEE system, which is currently undergoing testing as a demonstrator, can also be used for object protection, harbor and airport surveillance, and inland water navigation, particularly under unfavorable weather conditions. |
