SterREO Discovery.V8

The Discovery.V8 stands out due to the best optics and stability in its class. The exceptionally stable stand has been designed on the basis of state-of-the-art finite element method simulations, resulting in excellent rigidity and vibration resistance. Thanks to engageable click stops, the manual zoom can be operated with precise reproducibility.

The choice of objectives extends across the whole range – from the economical Achromat all the way to the high end Plan Apochromat objectives, which offer an extremely high level of correction for flatness of field, resolving power and colour fidelity, and the best apochromatic image quality available.

The modular design of SteREO Discovery.V8 provides superior flexibility in the selection of components. Intelligent interfaces enable the use of numerous options from the comprehensive stereo microscope accessory portfolio from Carl Zeiss.

Configure the instrument perfectly according to your individual requirements, making use of the extensive variety of contrast and illumination methods available. The more sample-specific the illumination, the more details the microscopic image will reveal. We offer a wide choice of illumination options, including fibre optic illumination components as well as VisiLED –“pure daylight from above”.
