The tutorial initializes with a pre-activated fluorescent protein specimen appearing in the Specimen window and a dark ribbon structure of the protein Eos positioned on the right-hand side of the tutorial window. In order to operate the tutorial, use the PAL-M Process slider to transition through the various steps in gathering an image. As the slider is moved from one position to another, the action occurring in that particular stage is explained by text boxes in the tutorial and below. In order to choose an alternative specimen, use the Choose a Specimen pull-down menu.

Localize Single Molecules with Unrivalled Precision

ELYRA P.1 takes light microscopy to the limit. By localizing small structures and even single molecules, you are able to achieve resolutions of down to 20 nm laterally and 50 nm axially.
