Finest & brightest dot

Minimal target coverage and best visibility – that is the proud claim of the finest, brightest and therefore most precise illuminated dot in the world.

Ergonomic design

The design of the VICTORY HT is based entirely on intuitive, high precision operation.

Innovative optical concept

Carry on hunting well into the night – the revolutionary light transmission of up to more than 95%  makes it possible. This unique result is due to an innovative optical concept: the combination of extremely light-permeable SCHOTT HT high transmission lenses, reticle technology that offers loss-free transmission and performance-enhanced Carl Zeiss T*multi-layer coating. All this means that the VICTORY HT riflescopes set new standards worldwide for premium riflescopes.

The finest and brightest illuminated dot

Minimal target coverage and the best visibility – that is the proud claim of the finest, brightest and therefore most precise illuminated dot in the world. Thanks to unique fibre optics and nanotechnology, the VICTORY HT creates an extremely intense illuminated dot with sharp contours and ultrafine dimming. And since it is on the 2nd image plane it maintains its fine definition even during changes in magnification.

Ergonomic design

The design of the VICTORY HT is based entirely on intuitive, high precision operation. The range of sophisticated functions includes the quick and easy adjustment of the illuminated dot using the wheel on the left. Firm, rubberised surfaces make it pleasant to handle. This makes the VICTORY HT a pioneer in terms of ergonomics too.

Timelessly elegant and compact

Developed and built in a new design, the compact VICTORY HT can be fitted to even the best quality rifle to create a single perfect entity. The particularly slim eyepiece allows the scope to be mounted flat on the rifle, so that the rifle and the glass merge into a single visual entity. The lightweight, matt black aluminium body is both elegant and robust. The new titanium ring on the slim eyepiece is the new identifying feature of the VICTORY HT, which also makes a quantum leap forwards in design terms.

ASV+ ballistic concept

A further development of the tried and tested ASV, which significantly increases your accuracy even over particularly long distances: with the new ASV+ it is possible to read the shooting distance directly, offering an intuitive ease of operation that is unrivalled and guaranteeing the highest precision. A complete set of engraved metal rings is included for maximum ease of operation and the greatest flexibility. These compensate for the bullet drop of virtually all ammunition available on the market and allow a maximum operating range of up to 600 metres.
The new ASV+ is an optional extra.

Tried and tested LotuTec® coating

Keep your target clearly in sight whatever the weather. Water simply rolls off the tried and tested LotuTec® coating, ensuring clear visibility even in rain and snow. This innovative protective layer also makes it quick and easy to remove dust and dirt.

Versatile mounting options

All models in this range are available with the tried and tested ZEISS rail mount or with the 30 mm ring mounting system. This means that there are virtually no hunting rifles that cannot be combined with the ZEISS VICTORY HT riflescopes.

You can choose between four VICTORY HT models.

VICTORY HT 1.1–4x24

The specialist for the driven hunt: its particularly wide field of view of 38 metres and maximum eye relief gives you a very quick target acquisition and a superior overview of the whole hunting situation. With the new reticle 54 it is possible to take a quick shot even without switching on the illuminated dot – thanks to the fine cross on the illuminated dot.

Reticles

In the VICTORY HT range, innovative riflescopes meet equally innovative reticles. The finest illuminated dot in the world is located on the 2nd image plane of all versions. This ensures that you can rely on a constant, fine reticle across the whole magnification range and you are able to change the magnification at any time. Whether you are involved in a driven hunt, deerstalking, stand hunting or shooting at long range, you can be sure to enjoy greater accuracy.

Recticle 54

illuminated

The new driven hunt Reticle 54 for the 1.1-4x24 VICTORY HT model is another specialist reticle from Carl Zeiss. This further development of the Reticle 0 is designed for rapid and secure aiming with minimum target coverage. Along with the fine horizontal hairs it also has a cross with an ultrafine illuminated dot. The horizontal line acts as a height corrector when swinging the gun and prevents the rifle from tilting. The cross makes it possible to take aim quickly and to acquire the target even without using the illuminated dot. You will see just how fine the illuminated dot on the new VICTORY HT models is when you view the minimal amount of target coverage: at 12 x magnification just 0.55 cm is covered at 100 m. This makes it the finest and brightest illuminated dot in the world, and a true benchmark.

Recticle 60

illuminated

The Reticle 60 is lighter and finer in looks than the similar Reticle 40. The posts only cover half the area, leaving double the amount of space between them. This makes it perfect for precision shooting with minimum coverage of the target game. At 12 x magnification and a target coverage of just 0.55 cm at 100 m you keep a good overview without losing sight of the finer details. The illuminated dot is very bright, and can therefore be used for daytime hunting. The dot can be finely adjusted, which makes it ideal for night-time hunting too. The reticle is either in the 1st or 2nd image plane, depending on the riflescope.

Rapid-Z®5

The illuminated Rapid-Z®5 reticle has holdover lines and markings for shooting distances of up to 500 m. The first step is to zero your rifle to 100 m. Then, according to the load used, select the correct magnification, which you can use to take aim using the holdover lines or points. This enables you to achieve absolute precision at distances of 200, 300, 400 and 500 metres.

The magnification determines the adjustment necessary for the bullet. In order to work out the necessary magnification the ZEISS ballistics programme, containing around 1400 loads, is available to download free of charge. Note: this adjustment is essential to ensure the holdover lines correspond with the bullet drop.

The indexed holdover lines with wind marks are designed to help with compensating for wind drift. The entire target area of the crosshairs can be illuminated, which makes it easy to use, even in poor light conditions.

Questions & Answers

Pfeil

How much brighter are the VICTORY HT riflescopes compared to the VICTORY V8, Varipoint and Victory FL Diavari, and can I really see the difference?

Some 30 years after ZEISS broke through the 90% transmission threshold in the design of its binoculars and riflescopes, the new optical concept, combined with the innovative high transmission (HT) lenses from SCHOTT have now achieved unrivalled transmission values of up to 95% and more. In addition, the HT illuminated reticles (60 and 54) lose no light at all, which gives the advantage of several percentage points in terms of transmission.
The difference to other riflescopes is just a few percentage points in terms of transmission, but is clearly visible in the final, critical moments of light.

Pfeil

What is the difference between FL, HD, HT and ED?

ED = Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

HD = High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

FL = Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

HT = High Transmission = lenses by SCHOTT with very good transmission properties.

We use HT in the sense of a complete HT concept: binoculars that are based on the FL binoculars but which have extremely high levels of light transmission.
VICTORY HT binoculars also have FL and HT lenses.
VICTORY HT riflescopes do not have FL lenses.

Pfeil

What do the abbreviations mean?

Meaning of the abbreviations

FL
Binoculars or spotting scopes with glasses that contain fluoride (FL) for sharper, higher contrast images with significantly reduced chromatic aberrations; Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

GA
Previously used to designate Dialyt binoculars with rubber armour

T*
ZEISS T* multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility

MC
    ZEISS multi-layer coating (multi coating)

P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating

B
Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.
Now all ZEISS binoculars and spotting scope eyepieces are suitable for people who wear glasses, so the "B" designation is no longer used

S
    Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation

M
Riflescope models with ZEISS mounting rail.

iC
    Riflescope with illumination control

ED
Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

HD
High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

HT
High Transmission = lenses by SCHOTT with very good transmission properties.
