Lucie Baudinaud (“Olga”) and Lena Katharina Krause (“I AM”) are cinematographers at early stages of their careers. They will present us excerpts from their recent work, tell us about the visual challenges they had to face, and explain how the equipment served their artistic needs. Moderated by Hélène de Roux (ZEISS).
Lucie studied cinema at la Sorbonne Nouvelle, and graduated from the Image Department of La Fémis, Paris in 2013. Lucie has shot several music videos, short films, series, documentaries, and features. Her second feature film “Olga”, directed by Elie Grappe, was shown at this year’s Festival de Cannes Critics’ Week and will release in France in November 2021.
Lena Katharina Krause
Lena studied Film and Television with a focus on camera at DHB Berlin, FH Dortmund and Hamburg Media School. During her studies, she began working as a camera assistant for various small and large productions for feature films, commercials, and series, as well as working in the camera rental Cinegate Berlin. Lena successfully completed her Master of Arts degree with the film “I AM“ that is competing in this year’s Camerimage Film and Art School Etudes Competition.
