Data Protection Statement for the ZEISS Hunting App

The ZEISS Hunting App supports you while hunting with the planning, implementation and documentation of your experiences. The user makes the decisions regarding the collection, management of usage of this personal data by the app. You can also use the app without registration, meaning without personalization. In this case, your data will not be able to be restored in the event that the device is lost and synchronization between terminal devices will not be possible. You can request the deletion of your data at any time. When contacting the service team via the feedback button in the app or via the service email address, the data you have input/provided will be transmitted and stored so that it is possible to process your inquiry. Die ZEISS Hunting App unterstützt Sie bei der Jagd von der Planung, über die Durchführung, bis hin zur Dokumentation Ihrer Erlebnisse. Über die Erhebung, Verwaltung und Nutzung dieser personenbezogenen Daten durch die App entscheiden Sie als Benutzer selbst. Sie können die App auch ohne Registrierung, d.h. ohne Personifizierung verwenden. In diesem Falle sind Ihre Daten bei Geräteverlust nicht wiederherstellbar und die Synchronisation zwischen Endgeräten nicht möglich. Sie können jederzeit die Löschung Ihrer Daten verlangen. Bei Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Serviceteam über den Feedback Button in der App, oder über die Service Mail Adresse, erfolgt eine Übertragung und Speicherung der von Ihnen eingegeben/übermittelten Daten, damit eine Bearbeitung ihrer Anfragen möglich ist. Zur Verbesserung unserer Service Qualität erfolgt eine Verarbeitung dieser Daten in anonymer Form.

Die App stellt Ihnen Push-Benachrichtigungen zur Verfügung. Über die Push-Benachrichtigungen erhalten Sie für Sie relevante Informationen und Neuigkeiten. Für den Erhalt der Push-Benachrichtigungen, sind folgende Zugriffsrechte notwendig. Nutzen Sie die App auf einem Android-Gerät, müssen Sie bei der Installation bzw. beim Update die Identitäts-Abfrage akzeptieren, um die Push-Mitteilungen der ZEISS Hunting App erhalten zu können. Die Push-Mitteilungen können bei Android-Geräten in der App-Verwaltung ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Nutzen Sie die App auf einem iOS-Gerät, werden Sie beim erstmaligen Starten der App gefragt, ob die ZEISS Hunting App Ihnen Push-Mitteilungen senden darf. Diese Mitteilungen können Sie bei den Einstellungen verwalten.

Mit der Registrierung stimmen Sie als Nutzer der App der Verarbeitung von personenbezogenen Daten im Rahmen der Zweckbestimmung der ZEISS Hunting App sowie den nachstehenden Datenschutzhinweisen zu. Anschließend werden die Daten der registrierten User auf von ZEISS betriebenen Servern gesichert. Folgende Daten bzw. Datenkategorien werden erhoben: Name und Vorname, E-Mail-Adresse, Ballistik, Jagd-Tagebuch, Wetter- und Standortdaten, Connected Products und Meine Ausrüstung.
Zusätzlich ist auch eine einfache Registrierung über Facebook möglich. Bei dieser Registrierung wird auf Ihre personenbezogenen Daten zugegriffen, allerdings wird Facebook kein Zugriff auf Ihre personenbezogenen Daten der ZEISS Hunting App gewährt.
Umgang mit Standortdaten:

Die folgenden Funktionen in der ZEISS Hunting App erfordern den Zugriff auf den Standort, um Ihnen das volle Nutzererlebnis zu bieten: Jagdreviere, Wetter, Meine Ausrüstung, Jagdtagebuch.
Weiteres sammelt die ZEISS Hunting App Ihre Standortdaten während Sie die Geofencing-Funktion in Jagdrevieren aktiviert haben auch wenn die App im Hintergrund läuft oder nicht verwendet wird.
