Terms and conditions of participation in the contest on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter

By taking part in the contest, the persons accept these terms and conditions of participation. The contest runs for four weeks from 12:00 am (CST) on 17 October 2021 till 12:00 am (CST) on 17 November 2021.

How does it work?

Within the contest, Carl Zeiss AG publishes five questions on the ZEISS Group social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter).

In order to participate in this contest, the participants have to answer four out of five questions correctly and send their answers via email to 175co ntest @zeiss .com. Each participant may only enter the competition once. Multiple entries are excluded.

Comments below postings on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter won’t be taken in account.

All persons who have correctly answered at least four out of five questions in the time period between 12:00 am (CST) on 17 October 2021 and 12:00 am (CST) on 17 November 2021 will be entered in the contest.

All five questions can be found on the social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter) via the hashtag #ZEISS175.

Who is allowed to take part?

Everyone with an account on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter can take part in the contest.

What are the prizes?

The winners will be drawn randomly from amongst all participants who answered at least four out of five questions correctly. There are 50 prizes for 1st – 50th place. The prizes are the following:

  • 1st place: ZEISS ZX1
  • 2nd place: Vivo X60
  • 3rd place: ZEISS Victory Pocket
  • 4th to 10th place: ZEISS175 Buch
  • 11th to 30th place: ZEISS Bottle
  • 31st to 50th place: ZEISS175 Moleskine Notebook

How will the winners be contacted?

The 50 winners will be contacted via email on 22 November 2021 and will be asked to send their addresses. Then the prizes will be sent via post to the winner’s address. There are no additional costs for this service.

Prize returns for undeliverable addresses will not be resent. Cash alternatives for prizes and legal recourse are excluded.

Data collection, processing and use

By transmitting their personal data, participants agree with the collection, processing, storage and use of the personal data provided for the handling of the drawing. The information provided by participants is used by Carl Zeiss AG only for the purposes of the drawing. The organizer of this contest is Carl Zeiss AG, Carl-Zeiss-Straße 22, 73447 Oberkochen, Germany. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter.

Carl Zeiss AG shall not be liable for damages caused by errors or the failure of technical equipment. Such damages include incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, and viruses.
