Entry Level Opportunities for Graduates at ZEISS

Global Graduate Program, cooperative master’s degree or direct entry

ZEISS Global Graduate Program

Setting things in motion as a team

The ZEISS Global Graduate Program will be tailored to you and your future role. In cross-company or cross-functional assignments, you will take responsibility for strategic projects and important operational tasks right from the start.

Throughout the entire program, you will be able to consult your supervisor on the individual assignments on-site, and will also have a mentor. They will monitor your specialist and personal qualifications. This approach allows experts to share ideas with trainees.

Your 15 months on the ZEISS Global Graduate Program will give you a comprehensive overview of your entry-level position, related business areas, international locations and ZEISS's processes and technologies. At the company, there will be a wide range of development and further training opportunities for you to choose from.

Judith Walter

Don’t rest on your laurels. Instead, be inquisitive and aim to keep developing. Keep an open mind when it comes to trying out new things. See new things as a challenge, not a threat. Fight for what you believe in. Always trust your gut and aim high.

More than just a trainee – highlights in addition to different assignments
Another highlight of the Global Graduate Program are the Base Camps. These take place twice during the complete trainee program. Everyone who takes part in the Global Graduate Program will also join the networking events.

As part of the Base Camps, all participants from around the world meet to work on joint projects and learn more about products, technologies and about the history of ZEISS.

Cooperative master’s degree

In cooperation with the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) at the Steinbeis Business Academy in Berlin

A cooperative master’s degree gives you the opportunity to expand your theoretical knowledge while getting your foot in the door at a major company.

In cooperation with the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) at the Steinbeis Business Academy in Berlin, ZEISS offers a two-year cooperative master’s degree. Alongside your hands-on project, you can also graduate with a supplementary degree in International Management (MSc). During the double degree program, you will also have the opportunity to obtain an international MBA.

A cooperative master’s degree allows you to combine further training with entry into the world of work. Our students work on exciting, diverse projects at different parts of the company and in different departments. The monthly seminar blocks provide students with the theoretical background and relevant methods, and support them as they apply their new knowledge to the hands-on project at the company. What’s more, the master’s degree comprises several weeks of study abroad and a selection of optional modules in order to delve further into individual interests.

Learning and networks with other industries has broadened my horizons.

Miriam Eichler, Director of Talent Attraction

ZEISS doesn’t just pay you a salary, it also covers your tuition fees and any costs you incur traveling to and from the seminars. Your contract will run until the end of your master’s degree. You can enroll on the master’s program anytime during the year.
