Jena is located at the crossroads of Germany's major road and rail arteries connecting the north to the south and the east to the west of the country. It is accessible via the A4 freeway Dresden-Eisenach-Frankfurt/M. and the A9 freeway Berlin-Munich.

The Jena metropolitan area is directly connected to the A4 freeway Dresden-Eisenach-Frankfurt/M. via the Jena-Lobeda and the Jena-Göschwitz junctions. The city is connected to the Berlin-Nürnberg freeway via the nearby Hermsdorfer intersection.

You may take any of the following exits:
A4 from Efurt/Gera, exit Jena-Lobeda, highway to the city center
A9 from Berlin/Munich, exit Eisenberg, B7 to Jena all the way to the city center
B88 from Naumburg or Weimar.

Parking: Eleven free parking spaces are available to you directly in front of the Villa Rosenthal.
