The Digital Customer Interaction team builds and designs solutions with our business colleagues, that provide a seamless digital experience to our customers across ZEISS.
Working in close collaboration with our colleagues in the business units – we explore, design, build and launch, new and innovative cloud-first solutions.
We use agile methods to support our customers at every stage of their digitalization projects. This helps us create top-quality tailored solutions using modern web and cloud technologies, as well as end-to-end platforms for innovative business approaches.
We work in swarm teams made up of business, technical and customer experts to identify latent customer needs and translate them into value propositions and opportunities for new digital solutions.

Through our Digital Business & Ecosystems team, we offer the necessary expertise for positioning new products in digital markets. We have a thorough understanding of business models in the digital world, particularly as concerns monetizing services and data. This includes platform-based business models with their underlying network effects. Our digital ecosystem comprising established players and start-ups helps us position new digital products and services effectively.
We transfer and adapt successful approaches from the digital world to the ZEISS-specific context, e.g. lean start-up methodologies. With these methods and our broad understanding of how to transform a high-tech company's existing structures and processes into new forms of value creation, we drive the digital transformation at ZEISS.
Design & InsightsTranslating customer needs into delightful user experiences
As the Design & Insights team we bring user research, design thinking, design strategy and detailed UX/UI skills to the ZEISS Digital Partners projects. Our team consists of international experts from a broad range of backgrounds ranging from experience mapping and concept development through to brand focused web design, and mobile and desktop applications.
Architecture & EngineeringDelivering cutting edge digital solutions across ZEISS
As the Architecture and Engineering (AE) team, we are the technology-core of the Digital Innovation Partners. Everyone on the AE team from software architects, software developers to agile coaches are highly experienced in innovative technologies across Web, App, Application and IoT. We work closely with our business segment colleagues to build leading digital solutions for ZEISS.

Jointly with our R&D and IT department we build the competencies to enhance our products and enable new value propositions by extracting actionable information from data.
We aim to establish and maintain a data-driven positive feedback loop to continuously get better as an organization while improving the experience of our customers.
Our multi-disciplinary team combines passion and expertise to create impact through digital experiences. With over 13 different nationalities (and still counting), we have a vibrant and inspiring community of practitioners. With backgrounds including: Design Thinking, Software Engineering, Data Science, Management Consultancy, User Experience and Cloud Natives – we have the diverse skillset needed to drive digital transformation at ZEISS.
