ZEISS DTI 3/25 – The New Thermal Imaging Camera from ZEISS

ZEISS is proud to announce the release of the ZEISS DTI 3/25, its second thermal imaging camera developed especially for hunting. With a focal length of 25 mm, it offers an enlarged field of view of 26 meters at a range of 100 meters and thus a decisive advantage when hunting in wooded areas or at the bait site at night.

New Firmware Update for the ZEISS DTI 3/35 Thermal Imaging Camera

A free firmware update will be available in the ZEISS Hunting app for the ZEISS DTI 3/35 thermal imaging camera, which was specially developed for hunting, starting on August 11, 2021. Among other enhancements, the update increases battery life and improves image quality in foggy conditions via the “Contrast Boost” feature.

Carl Zeiss Meditec records significant increase in revenue and raises annual targets

Carl Zeiss Meditec generated revenue of €1,198.2m in the first nine months of fiscal year 2020/21 (prior year: €967.9m), growing by +23.8% (adjusted for currency effects: +27.6%). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased overproportionally, to €282.8m (prior year: €111.9m).

Overall, the ZEISS Group had a good fiscal year 2019/20 (end of reporting period: 30 September 2020): revenue totaled 6.297 billion euros (prior year: 6.428 billion euros). With a slight decline of 2% due to the COVID-19 pandemic, revenue almost reached last year's level.

Annual Report 2018/19 for the ZEISS Group

The ZEISS Group continued its growth trajectory, with revenue and earnings reaching new heights in fiscal year 2018/19, which ended 30 September 2019. Revenue grew by 11 percent, reaching 6.428 billion euros (previous year: 5.817 billion euros). Adjusted for currency and consolidation effects, revenue rose by 8 percent.
