    Elke Luxem

    Elke Luxem

    Marketing Manager Benelux, Medical Technology

    1. Living in a digital world means ...

… new ways of communicating with each other and doing business. We have immediate access to information and to tools or apps that make life easier. However, digitization has also made society more complex.

    2. My computer, smartphone or tablet is ...

… my constant companion. It contains all of my emails, contacts, documents and pictures. It helps me do my work efficiently and organize my life.

    3. Digitization is changing how I work because ...

… I now have more ways of communicating with colleagues, via email, Lync, etc. Digitization is changing the way we communicate and interact with customers.

    4. Digitization is opening up opportunities as well as risks. I expect ZEISS to ...

… fully embrace the opportunities of digitization by adopting new communication channels, product development processes and business models.

    Ivan Gonzalez

    Iván González

Account Manager Northern Spain, Carl Zeiss Iberia, Microscopy

    1. Living in a digital world means ...

… the world has changed and therefore the ways people communicate and interact have also changed. We currently have access to a huge amount of information, and we must develop the right competencies to make maximum use of it (to search for, find, evaluate, organize and share information). To achieve this goal, we must utilize all tools and digital platforms available.

    2. My computer, smartphone or tablet is ...

… an extension of myself and an essential tool. It allows me to search for and share information with anyone (customers, colleagues, friends, family, ...) – any time, any place.

    3. Digitization is changing how I work because ...

… the way we communicate with customers is changing. With the amount of information available on our products they are becoming better and better informed. Therefore, their questions are more and more specific and they are also demanding faster answers.

    4. Digitization is opening up opportunities as well as risks. I expect ZEISS to ...

… have a good digital strategy to combine business and technologies with a vision focused on the short, medium and long terms. I also trust (in fact I am sure) that ZEISS will provide us with the training and tools necessary to achieve this.
