Connecting non-DICOM instruments to efficient data management flow

More and more eye care practices are converting to digital data management. Yet the integration and documentation of data from many diagnostic instruments which do not comply to the DICOM standard continue to be very cumbersome. Until now.

With ZEISS FORUM LINK net, instruments from ZEISS as well as other manufacturers which do not have a DICOM interface can be seamlessly integrated into the enhanced data management workflow of ZEISS FORUM. With this application, images or reports from instruments without DICOM interface can be transferred and associated to the correct patient record in FORUM from ZEISS where they are stored as DICOM files. Moreover, patient demographics do not have to be keyed in. Instead, they can be selected from worklists created in ZEISS FORUM.

Fast identification of patient record inconsistencies

When migrating legacy data from different diagnostic instruments to the data management environment of FORUM, patient record inconsistencies such as duplicate files may occur. Irregularities such as alternate name spellings or patient IDs should be quickly removed and duplicate records merged.

ZEISS FORUM ASSIST match is a highly efficient software tool designed to quickly find duplicate patient records stored in the FORUM Archive. It can save practices a tremendous amount of time, effort and costs in manually locating and eliminating these types of irregularities. After ZEISS FORUM ASSIST match has identified the duplicate records, they can be quickly and easily merged.

ZEISS FORUM ASSIST match 1.5 is now available on the ZEISS Software Download Portal
