Advanced Retina Imaging Network

Discover. Collaborate. Understand.

Science proved it wasn't flat

What will you discover?

Uncovering the undiscovered has always relied upon collaboration. In fact, the sharing of ideas and insights is foundational to scientific achievement. Today, a new era in open innovation is creating a fresh discovery paradigm–one that has the potential to rapidly accelerate development by bringing researchers together in pursuit of advancing opportunities to better support vision care around the world.

With the A R I Network...

Uncovering the undiscovered

with PLEX ELITE 9000

A new idea is often the start of scientific discovery. But it is transformational new technology that often enables researchers to act upon these ideas and to explore previously unreachable frontiers. ZEISS PLEX Elite® 9000* is just such a technology. By inviting researchers into a new world of structural and microvascular clarity of the anatomy, PLEX Elite 9000 is foundational to the future of retina research and to the understanding and development of retina disease.

*PLEX® Elite 9000 is CE Marked and is available for sale in selected CE Mark countries.

PLEX Elite 9000 is 510(k) FDA cleared and is available for sale in the US. However, the distribution of the device is limited to institutions conducting research. The recipient is responsible for obtaining IRB approval for site-sponsored research under non-significant risk IDE in order to participate in the Advanced Retina Imaging (A R I) Network and receive PLEX Elite tools and updates that may require FDA 510(k) review.
