ZEISS AT LISA IOLs are based on the unique LISA concept, which comprises the following features:

Light is distributed asymmetrically
between the different focus points to ensure excellent vision at all distances. For AT LISA this translates into 65% of light being allocated to the far and 35% to the near focal point.

Independence from pupil size due to high-performance diffractive-refractive micro-structure covering the complete 6.0 mm optical diameter.  

SMP technology
provides a lens surface with no sharp angles for ideal optical imaging quality with reduced light scattering.

Aberration correcting optimized aspheric optic for better contrast sensitivity, depth of field and sharper vision.

The LISA concept greatly improves the visual performance of the lens, and thus allows surgeons to achieve high patient satisfaction. When asked “Are you satisfied?” and “Would you recommend the ZEISS AT LISA?” 100% of patients said “Yes!”.1

Outstanding visual acuity at near and far distances.

The AT LISA 809M delivers the familiar ZEISS superior optical performance and great visual quality for far distance. And with its additional focal point for near distance, ZEISS AT LISA 809M allows patients to achieve excellent near vision, meaning that reading small print and performing delicate work such as sewing becomes possible without any visual aids.

As a result, more than 90% of patients do not need corrective glasses for near and far distances.1,3,4

Good contrast sensitivity day and night.

Due to the asymmetrical light distribution between far (65%) and near (35%) focal points, the light yield of the ZEISS AT LISA amounts to 80%, improving overall contrast sensitivity.

Compared to multifocal lenses with symmetrical light distribution, AT LISA IOLs provide a higher contrast sensitivity level – which lies within the normal range of healthy phakic patients, under photopic and mesopic conditions.
