    Spherical Applicator Dose Distribution

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Spherical Applicator can be used for the intracavitary intraoperative delivery of radiation to the tumor bed, e.g. in the treatment of brain tumors or at the time of breast conserving surgery

    Flat Applicator Dose Distribution

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Flat Applicator can be used for the treatment of tumors on surgically exposed surfaces, e.g. tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.  

    Surface Applicator Dose Distribution

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Surface Applicator can be used in the treatment of tumors on the surface of the body, for example, irradiation of non-melanoma skin cancers.  

    Needle Applicator Dose Distribution

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Needle Applicator can be used for the interstitial irradiation of tumors, e.g. in the treatment of vertebral metastases or brain tumors.

    INTRABEAM Spherical Applicator Set

    ZEISS INTRABEAM Spherical Applicator Set

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Spherical Applicator can be used for the intracavitary intraoperative delivery of radiation to the tumor bed, e.g. at the time of breast conserving surgery or in the treatment of brain tumors. The ZEISS INTRABEAM Spherical Applicator creates a spherical dose distribution emitted from the center to the probe tip. The applicator fills the tumor cavity created by the tumor excision. The applicators are reusable and sterilizable.

    ZEISS INTRABEAM Flat Applicator Set

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Flat Applicator can be used for the treatment of tumors on surgically exposed surfaces, e.g. tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. The ZEISS INTRABEAM Flat Applicator has an optimized flat radiation field at 5 mm from the applicator surface. Using the Position Marker, the area to be irradiated can be fixated. The applicators and Position Markers are reusable and sterilizable.

    INTRABEAM Surface Applicator Set

    ZEISS INTRABEAM Surface Applicator Set

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Surface Applicator can be used in the treatment of tumors on the surface of the body, e. g., irradiation of non-melanoma skin cancers. It is particularly useful for patients with high surgical risk or for the purposes of cosmesis. The ZEISS INTRABEAM Surface Applicator creates an optimized flat radiation field directly in contact with the target surface. Using the Position Marker, the area to be irradiated can be fixated. The applicators and Position Markers are reusable and sterilizable.

    INTRABEAM Needle Applicator

    ZEISS INTRABEAM Needle Applicator

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Needle Applicator can be used for the interstitial irradiation of tumors, e.g. in the treatment of vertebral metastases or brain tumors. The applicator creates a spherical dose distribution emitted from the center to the probe tip and sterilizes the tumor directly in place or fills the tumor cavity created by the tumor excision respectively. The applicator is delivered sterile, intended for single use only.

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Needle Applicator generates a spherical dose distribution emitted from the center to the tip of the tube.

    The ZEISS INTRABEAM Flat Applicator generates an optimized flat radiation field (by means of a flattening filter) at 5 mm from the applicator surface.
