AngioPlex for ONH allows us to view the radial peripapillary capillaries of the RNFL — making it possible for us to easily detect focal glaucomatous perfusion defects. The vessel density and flux values output is also proving to be extremely valuable.

Designed for the optic nerve head (ONH) and the visualization of vasculature, ZEISS AngioPlex for ONH offers new insights into glaucoma. This new scan type enables visualization of the radial peripapillary capillary (RPC) network that cannot be seen using traditional fluorescein angiography.

AngioPlex Metrix helps clinicians track progressive eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy by providing vascular quantification including foveal avascular zone (FAZ), perfusion density, and vessel density. AngioPlex Change Analysis for ONH is a consolidated report, showing structure, vasculature, RNFL map comparisons and quantitative metrics for the ONH across two visits.
