    Humphrey Field Analyzer II-i SITA Testing Strategies

    SITA Strategies are not only fast and accurate, but also friendly on the patient. Using timing techniques, SITA is extraordinarily responsive to patient reaction times. The patient runs the perimeter, rather than the reverse.

    SITA testing strategies available on the HFA II-i:

    • SITA Standard: A threshold testing method which collects the same amount of information in half the time as the original Humphrey® Full Threshold standard algorithm, without compromising test reproducibility.
    • SITA Fast: A threshold testing method that collects the same amount of information in half the time as FastPac, without compromising test reproducibility.

    Humphrey fixation monitoring tool

    The HFA II-i ’s fixation monitoring automatically tracks and aligns head and eye position to promote exam reliability.

    Monitoring and maintaining patient’s eye position with the Humphrey:

    • Gaze tracking is a unique fixation tracking system that records if patient is fixating properly while each stimuli is presented.
    • Head tracking ensures proper alignment of the head and eye relative to the trial lens holder.
    • Video eye monitoring helps to position the test eye in the center of the trial lens holder and monitor the patient during testing.
    • Vertex monitoring uses the distance between two corneal reflexes to determine if the patient has moved too far back from the trial lens. The software will flag the movement and ask the operator to realign the patient or re-initialize the system.

    For comprehensive connectivity, FORUM integrates all of your ZEISS instruments, as well as any DICOM device using the medical standard data protocol. FORUM can also connect to networked devices without DICOM – giving you virtually instantaneous access to the comprehensive patient information you need, whenever and wherever you need it.

    Centralized report management and retrieval
    FORUM allows you to access your glaucoma patient data instantly through centralized report management and retrieval.

    EMR integration with FORUM
    Connectivity to an EMR through FORUM delivers significant practice efficiency and offers closed-loop workflow helping to eliminate patient data errors.

    For legacy patient records, FORUM offers FORUM ASSIST Match, a quick and simple way to find and merge multiple patient records using a variety of match criteria.

    Basic Networking
    You can export files via the USB port, or over the network, and save to shared folders on a PC for transferring data to EMRs.

    GPA – Advancing the Science of progression analysis

    The Humphrey Field Analyzer Guided Progression Analysis (GPA) software accurately differentiates statistically significant progression of visual field loss from random variability. The analysis is based upon detailed empirical knowledge of the variability found at various stages of glaucomatous visual field loss through information acquired in extensive multi-center clinical trials worldwide.

    1. Baseline Examinations
      Establish initial visual field status
    2. VFI Value
      A summary measurement of the patient’s visual field status, expressed as a percent of a normal age-adjusted visual field
    3. VFI Rate of Progression Analysis
      Trend analysis of the patient’s overall visual field history1
    4. VFI Plot
      Regression analysis of VFI values and 3 to 5 year projection
    5. VFI Bar
      A graphical depiction of the patient’s remaining useful vision at the current VFI value along with a 3 to 5 year projection of the VFI regression line if the current trend continues
    6. Current Visual Field Summary
      Complete report of current visual field including VFI, MD, PSD, the Progression Analysis Plot and the GPA alert
    7. GPA Alert
      A message that indicates whether statistically significant deterioration was noted in consecutive tests.
