    Ultra-high resolution and superior clarity promote efficient navigation from full-image overview to magnification of the smallest detail, allowing precise visualization within a particular area of interest.

    Based on the internal high-resolution sensor and complete patient data, VISUCAM allows a fast workflow so that captured images are immediately displayed on the monitor for fast assessment. Review is only a double-click away from capture.

    Fundus autofluorescence (FAF)

    FAF is an important non-invasive tool for the diagnosis and monitoring of Dry AMD, including geographic atrophy. In addition to AMD, FAF is useful for the following diseases:

    • Retinal detachment (but more important in periphery)
    • Inherited dystrophies (retinitis pigmentosa, Best and Stargardt disease)
    • Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR, CSR or CSC)
    • Vitelliform lesions
    • Acute zonal occult outer retinopathy (AZOOR)
    • Laser scars after macular edema
    • Papillary drusen in papillary edema

    More than a pretty picture

    VISUCAM is a complete system with numerous on-board image capture modes—fundus autofluorescence, non-mydriatic Color, Red free, Red, Blue—and visualization functionality that provide powerful diagnostic insights for optimal patient care. Simple comparisons of new and older images with various magnifying features and an adjustable monitor allows a fast review and patient education.

    High-res 3D images and image montages are standard tools

    Present the data with stereo images and multi-image montages in the right way for assessment of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy patients. The 3D images will allow even small changes in the glaucoma disease to be followed.

    Create montages to present a wider field of view

    ZEISS AutoMap, our automatic multi-image montage tool and our multi-image fixation target program, easily generates a larger field of view of the retina. Our seven-field fixation target helps to capture the images of the retina to 85o. As a benefit to your studies, the stereo image capture can be combined with a special seven-field ETDRS fixation target program.

    Best-in-class images from a 24-megapixel sensor

    VISUCAM 524 adds fluorescein angiography with an optional ICG mode for doctors who manage advanced disease and perform their own dye-based angiography.

    Smart alignment tools will make capturing fundus images as easy as possible:

    • Working distance dots designed to capture perfect stereo images
    • A circle as a fixation target helps with AMD patients

    Simple and fast data transfer

    VISUCAM offers the most necessary tools for performing routine procedures onboard, but can also easily transfer its data to other peripherals. USB and Ethernet ports provide a means to connect VISUCAM to external storage media or to your network. With automatic data transfer to the FORUM data management solution or to the VISUPAC image archiving system, all data can be reviewed and archived at any place within a network, an available EMR or HIS database.
