    Lens

    The lens projects an image of the object. To focus the image the surgical microscope can be raised or lowered, so long as the lens has been set to the working distance of e.g. 250mm from the object. The fine focus is used to focus precisely at higher magnification.

    Magnification changer

    The magnification factor can be altered in order to gain an overview at lower magnification and a view in more detail at greater magnification. This can be achieved by turning the magnification changer.

    Tiltable Tube

    Depending on the application the surgical microscope is used in different positions. In order to provide you with a comfortable and ergonomic view into the surgical microscope the tube head can be tilted.

    The eyepieces

    The eyepieces are the interface between the surgical microscope and the human eye. They magnify the image and can add diopter corrections.

    Light intensity

    To control the light intensity turn the knob. The higher the magnification, the more light you will need. Moving up the surgical microscope activates the stand by mode.

    The orange filter

    The orange filter prevents premature hardening of composite material. This can placed in the beam path when working with composite material. A green filter increases the contrast between the blood-filled and bloodless tissue, thus making details more visible.

    MORA Interface

    MORA interface allows the OPMI pico to be tilted to the left or right. The eyepieces retain their horizontal position, so that you have a straight, ergonomic seating position when looking into the surgical microscope. Your head and upper body remain upright and relaxed.

    Varioscope

    The working distance can be changed according to the internal varioscope‚Äôs second lens system. The varioscope of OPMI PROergo focuses on the image at the press of a button. Therefore you can focus without changing your seating position. The height of the surgical microscope can be chosen in a range from 200 to 415 mm for example above the patient's oral cavity. This allows you to adjust the surgical microscope to suit your individual ergonomic needs.

    Zoom System

    The zoom system of OPMI PROergo covers a continuous magnification range from the lowest to the highest magnification factor. You can continuously switch between an overview and a detailed view. You can control the zoom system by the multifunctional handgrip or footswitch.

    Multifunctional Handgrips

    By the push of a button of the multifunctional handgrips of OPMI PROergo focus and zoom factor can be set, the position of OPMI PROergo can be changed by releasing the magnetic brakes or the intensity of light can be controlled. It is possible to configure the button for even more functions.

    Foldable Tube

    Depending on the application the surgical microscope, depending on the operator's ergonomics and depending on the positioning of the patient the foldable tube allows for an almost unlimited variety of working positions providing optimal ergonomics and personalized positioning throughout each treatment.
