    Integrated Video Solutions

    The integrated video solutions for surgical microscopes are the most convenient way to generate images for information, documentation, teaching and presentation purposes. Due to the built-in camera systems with factory-aligned optics, the video solution works well out of the box. Enjoy the beauty and ergonomic advantages of the microscope without any impairment by cables or bulky video adapters. The integrated control allows management of the video solution together with the microscope, which means that it is streamlined with the surgical workflow.

    HD Video Solutions (1080p)

    •    Perfectly focused and sharp pictures with the
          integrated 3 chip HD Camera (1080p).
    •    Video images with optimized clarity and color rendition
          since the video camera is optimized for vascular
          surgery.
    •    Always sharp camera image thanks to the integrated
          Speedfokus autofocus function and the separate
          adjustable video focusing.

    •    Operate an external HD video recorder by the foot
          control panel or handgrip of the microscope.
          To enable operation, the  external recorder can
          be connected with the remote (AUX) connector.
    •    HD DigiZoom 2x video & image magnification

    SD Video Solutions PAL/ NTSC

    •    Perfectly focused and sharp pictures with the fully
          integrated 3 chip SD Camera (PAL/NTSC).
    •    Video images with optimized clarity and color
          rendition since the video camera is optimized
          for vascular surgery.
    •    Always sharp camera image thanks to the
          integrated Speedfokus autofocus function
          and the separate adjustable video focusing.

    •    The integrated SD recorder (PAL/NTSC) can be
          operated by the foot control panel or handgrip
          of the microscope.
    •    Patient names can be easily assigned to video data.
    •    The videos and still images are transferred directly
          to a USB storage media or to a shared directory in
          the Local Area Network (LAN Storage).

    External Video Components

    To support customer requirements or wishes for specific video solutions, external components can be mounted to the microscope system. The external attachment via standard optical and mechanical interfaces increases the flexibility and retrofitability of the microscopes.

    TRIO 610 with CCU TRIO 600 – 3 Chip HD Camera System

    The high definition camera system with apochromatic video optics allows microscope images to be generated with enhanced resolution and color rendition. The camera can be used for information, documentation, teaching and presentation of high quality images.

    MediLive Trio – 3 Chip SD Camera System

    Standard definition video camera designed for universal use in Neuro, ENT and Spinal surgery. The video images can be used for information, teaching and documentation purposes.

    MEDIALINK 100 SD Recorder

    Standard definition (SD) video recorder with image data management, that enables doctors and surgeons to record videos and capture still images. Using the MEDIALINK 100 standard definition videos and images can be automatically transferred to USB storage media or file servers.

    The FlexioStill adapter enables you to choose from a wide variety of digital compact cameras which can be attached to the microscope.

    Drapes with VisionGuard

    Drapes from Carl Zeiss are manufactured with VisionGuard®, a unique, optical lens that works with the microscope’s objective as a single optical unit for optical clarity. The lens can be replaced with a new sterile lens during surgery without compromising sterility.

    XY Coupler

    For precise movement in the XY plane the OPMI head travels into the desired position in a matter of seconds.

    Wireless Foot Control Panel

    The wireless foot control panel, designed to manage multiple microscope functions, can be freely positioned for rapid set-up and user convenience during surgery. The intelligent power management function ensures long‑lasting operability.

    Laser compatibility Micromanipulators

    OPMI VARIO 700 provides an interface for easy integration of conventional laser micromanipulators. A focus lock feature ensures that the focal position of the laser and the microscope are precisely aligned.
