Open Office Hours

For new technicians

ZEISS Clinical Applications Open Office Hours are weekly training sessions curated specifically for new technicians to build instrument skills and confidence. The ZEISS Clinical Applications team leads weekly sessions on the ZEISS CIRRUS OCT, IOLMaster, CLARUS and HFA3 to share foundational knowledge and best practices for acquiring the best images and measurements.
To maintain a high level of interaction, classes are kept small and can include operating instruments remotely. And prior to every session attendees are also invited to submit questions to ensure the content covered is focused on their training needs.

Open Office Hours are held Wednesdays for 45 minutes and start at 11:30am ET/8:30am PT.

ZEISS CIRRUS OCT

How CIRRUS^®OCT works, as well as the clinical indications for using specific scans is discussed. Best practices for acquiring and assessing a scan to ensure high quality are shown.

ZEISS IOLMaster 700

This session discusses how the IOLMaster^®700 optical biometer works, as well as clinical indications for using different formulas. Best practices for acquiring and assessing measurements to ensure high quality are demonstrated.

ZEISS CLARUS

This session covers how the CLARUS^®ultra-widefield retinal camera works, as well as the clinical indications for use. Best practices for acquiring and assessing an image to ensure high quality are discussed.

ZEISS Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 (HFA3)

This session discusses how the HFA3 works, as well as the clinical indications for using specific tests. Best practices for testing and assessing patient reliability to ensure high quality are demonstrated.
