    Versatility without compromise

VISUCAM®NM/FA features legendary ZEISS optics and non-mydriatic color fundus photography enabling you to photograph through pupils as small as 3.3mm. In addition the VISUCAMNM/FA features Fluorescein Angiography (Standard) and Indocyanine Green Angiography as well as Fundus Autofluorescence capture modes (Optional). Advanced features along with an easy stereo image mode are combined with intelligent auto functions that enable reproducible and intuitive imaging for every single patient eye.
Superior patient comfort, more efficient workflow and improved eye care: The VISUCAMNM/FA from ZEISS offers many advantages. The high-quality system provides everything you need for comprehensive assessment and management of typical eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and AMD in a single workstation.

    Legendary ZEISS optics

All ZEISS fundus cameras are built with precision optics to ensure the highest detail and quality in captured images. Furthermore, the exclusive telecentric optics provide constant magnification, independent of focus and position, resulting in virtually no distortion.

An investment one can build on

Fundus Autofluorescence and Indocyanine Green Angiography can be conveniently added as an upgrade at any time.

Ease of use and patient comfort

Operator-friendless is ensured by features such as infrared observation and software-guided workflow, including innovative stereo mode, a variety of internal fixation set ups and ZEISS AutoMap.

    Imaging made easy
VISUCAMNM/FA, as a uniquely integrated instrument, contains a variety of supporting functions and features a workflow-driven user interface that combines capture process and image review on one large display. This makes imaging very easy, even for novice technicians.

    From start to finish
From patient management, easy capture and review to comprehensive patient education, VISUCAMNM/FA provides high-quality images in a natural, intuitive and sequential workflow.

    Smart adjustment aids
A series of guiding features support an efficient capture process.

    • Pupil check
    • Small pupil mode (≥ 3.3 mm)
    • Easy positioning with working distance dots
    • Internal fixation targets (programmed sequences and freehand)

    Automated functionalities

Intelligent and programmable auto functions enable quick image capture and management.

    • AutoFocus
    • AutoFlash
    • Auto-Recognition of anterior and posterior segment and laterality
    • Auto-Export for backup and inter-connectivity

    More information in 3D

Especially useful for optic nerve head and Glaucoma evaluations, the guided stereo mode of the VISUCAMNM/FA provides added diagnostic value in the third dimension (3D). Stereo pairs themselves can be handled jointly for added convenience and be displayed with pervious pairs simultaneously for easy comparison.

    On-demand image review
Captured images are immediately available for assessment and review. All processing functions, including the following, are only a double click away.

    • Various magnifying features
    • Simplified search for images and patients
    • Drag & drop functionality for printout preparation
    • Channel separation (e.g. red-free, red, blue)
    • Auto-Optimization

    Automatic multi-image montage

The creation of panoramic images is driven and streamlined by internal fixation sequences – providing various presets yet offering flexibility with its freehand setting. Representing details or an overview – ZEISS AutoMap achieves both in a single image.

  • Autofluorescence (FAF)

    Fundus autofluorescence technique

The FAF technique is based on specific excitation and detection of the natural fluorescence of retinal compounds relevant in the retinal metabolism, such as lipofuscin. This is achieved by use of specific spectral exciter and barrier filters.
Our fundus camera based FAF is a single shot-technique that works in the blue-green spectral range (~520nm). In contrast to blue light exposure, the blue-green wavelength means less strain for the retina while allowing for better visualization of the macula center despite the absorption by the macula pigment.
