FORUM® Office from ZEISS is an intuitive software solution preinstalled on a powerful, state-of-the-art computer. It enables access to all exam data from diagnostic workstations simultaneously and connects with DICOM compliant instruments from ZEISS. Also, it can be customized to meet most practices’ individual needs, from integration with electronic medical record systems to adding more instruments, workstation viewers and Workplaces from ZEISS. Of course, FORUM from ZEISS is also available as a software only version.

    Connecting non-DICOM instruments to efficient data management flow

    More and more eye care practices are converting to digital data management. Yet the integration and documentation of data from many diagnostic instruments which do not comply to the DICOM standard continues to be very cumbersome. Until now.

    With FORUM LINK net from ZEISS, instruments from other manufacturers which do not have a DICOM interface can now also be seamlessly integrated into the enhanced ZEISS FORUM data management workflow. Images or reports from instruments without DICOM interface can be transferred and associated to the correct patient record in ZEISS FORUM, where they are stored as DICOM files. Patient demographics do not have to be keyed in, but rather can be selected from worklists created in ZEISS FORUM.

    Fast identification of patient record inconsistencies

    When migrating legacy data from different diagnostic instruments to the data management environment of FORUM, patient record inconsistencies such as duplicate files may occur. Irregularities such as alternate name spellings or patient IDs should be quickly removed and duplicate records merged.

    ZEISS FORUM ASSIST match is a highly efficient software tool designed to quickly find duplicate patient records stored in the FORUM Archive. It can save practices a tremendous amount of time, effort and cost in manually locating and eliminating these types of irregularities. After ZEISS FORUM ASSIST match has identified the duplicate records, they can be quickly and easily merged.
