Symposium | Next Generation High End Light Microscopy

Universitätsmedizin Berlin - Charité
September 4 - 6, 2019

Charité in collaboration with ZEISS cordially invites you to the Symposium „Next Generation High End Light Microscopy“ on September 4 – 6, 2019.

Life sciences research reveals and helps to understand the functions, mechanisms and processes of life. As a key technology light microscopy drives scientific advancement. In turn, these advances are stimulating new developments in light microscopy, as the requirements of the underlying workflows are getting more demanding.

Monitoring life as undisturbed and gentle as possible requires low labeling density for the biological models, e.g. 3D cell culture or even whole organisms. This calls for 4D live cell imaging that combines optical sectioning with low phototoxicity and high speed. Efficiency of scientific work is getting more important, as the need for reliable data in less time is constantly increasing.
Join our symposium to learn how you can get the best imaging and then practice your new skills during our one-on-one demonstrations. Gain insights into new imaging technologies such as Fast Confocal Superresolution, Automated Microscopy and image analysis based on Machine Learning Algorithms.
Convince yourself how your work benefits from the confocal microscope platforms ZEISS LSM 980 and Celldiscoverer 7. Use the new Airyscan 2 incl. Multiplex mode for eight times faster superresolution imaging and the Mixed mode, which seamlessly combines confocal and widefield world.
