ZEISS Axio Scan.Z1 Features

  • rapidly digitize reservoir rock samples, enabling you to extract reservoir-quality indicators such as macro & micro porosity, grain size and sorting and mineralogy
  • Stores up to fifty 28 mm x 48 mm petrographic thin section slides, or one hundred 1” x 3” slides for high-resolution imaging under transmitted, and fluorescence imaging modes
  • Equip each slide with a barcode (1D or 2D) for recognition and assignment of the digitized slides
  • Advanced ZEISS tray concept and extremely reliable components provide robust scan process
  • High tolerances for slide dimensions to accommodate wide variety of slides including ISO and Giessener formats with option for ZEISS to create product customer specific trays for non-standard slides
  • Acquire your images using ZEN imaging software, with integrated ZEN modules for Image Analysis and Open Application Development
