Whether you want to receive a vocational training in histology, cytology, hematology or gynecology, you need to develop expertise in staining methods such as hematoxylin and eosin staining (H & E staining), sample preparation as well as observation with microscopes. Already working in a lab, continuous learning or vocational training is mandatory for you to receive certifications and meet quality requirements. You need to maintain your knowledge and skills related to your professional lives. In the training of students and postgraduates or for consultation and joint discussion of blood smear samples or stained tissue you need to have the same brilliant microscopic image at the same time for all observers. Together in a team you evaluate and discuss the samples. Use the classic multidiscussion system for training and consultation situations as well as in the medical world, for example when education students or when jointly assessing specimens.
ZEISS Primovert HDcam
Primovert HDcam is your inverted microscope for the quick check of living cells. You examine unstained cells in phase contrast and GFP-labeled cells in fluorescence contrast just by changing the mode. The microscope integrates a camera and fits directly in your Laminar Flow Box. You work directly in the sterile environment. Use your iPad or iPhone and the free imaging App Labscope to share, discuss and explain your observations with other students – independent from the location of your microscope. Snap microscope images, annotate and create reports, and share them easily wirelessly with others.
ZEISS Primo Star HDcam
Primo Star HDcam is your upright transmitted-light brightfield microscope for the examination of stained tissue and blood smear samples. A 5 Megapixel HD streaming camera is already integrated in the stand. You can connect microscopes to Labscope, the imaging app from ZEISS. Your students can now share microscope images via Wi-Fi to HD monitors or projectors with the entire classroom and jointly assess specimens.
ZEISS Axiolab 5 for Multidiscussion
Your Axiolab 5 with multidiscussion equipment is particularly useful for co-observation of histologically stained transmitted-light tissue sections or blood smears. You use all of the common contrasting techniques: brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, and fluorescence. With the multidiscussion equipment, up to three people can see the same image in the same orientation as the main viewer. This avoids irritation resulting from rotated or mirrored images. All co-observers profit from the homogeneously illuminated field of view. For specimens stained with different colors, you can smoothly adjust the intensity of the light pointer between white, green, and red. This helps with orientation.
